Description

The Gibson SG Standard ’61 brings back the details of the early-’60s model, with a slim Mahogany body, small pickguard, and the clean lines of the original design. This 2019 example wears a classic Cherry finish, paired with a Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard. A set of 61R and 61T humbuckers delivers a clear, open response, while the ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece keep the hardware close to the vintage specification. The slim body and double-cutaway design offer comfortable access to the upper frets, making this a versatile take on one of Gibson’s most recognizable solidbody guitars.
