This 1956 Les Paul Custom shows the character and history from its decades of life sure to pique the interest of a vintage guitar enthusiast. The mahogany body is complemented by modified period-correct P-90 and Alnico V pickups—both rewound and re-shielded for reliable performance. The guitar has been refretted, with the top and back refinished while the sides remain largely original aside from minor touch-up. Additional work includes a replaced switch and neck tone pot, a headstock wing crack repair, and replaced treble-side neck binding, with the back and sides oversprayed in clear. Although this guitar has a lot of modifications to note, it oozes with vintage mojo and sounds like the best of them.
Includes modern hard shell case.
