Description

This Vibro-Champ is a transition era piece, having been built directly after the blackface amps were updated to the new design. In addition to the "drip-edge" aesthetics, this amp also features the black line on the faceplate, indicative of the very first transition models. While these were once seen as entry level amplifiers, they have gradually become professional grade pieces. Their combination of sound and portability is such that they serve as main studio amps, all the way to being mic'ed up in front of stadiums. The power cord, and preamp electrolytics have been changed, along with the speaker swapped for a modern Jensen. Otherwise the amp is all original!

While the amp does show minor signs of previous wear it still looks great, with no significant blemishes or tears to speak of. There's a small bit of staining at the lower rear side of the amp, from what looks like paint.
