This 1961 Tremolux features a unique configuration, as it was paired with the rare single 10" cabinet equipped with the tone ring. Because of this, it produces more of a Fender combo-style sound, delivering a wonderfully focused crunch when the volume is cranked. It shows minor signs of wear but still looks very good for its age.
Internally, the power cord, electrolytic capacitors, and power resistors have been replaced. The three coupling capacitors in the Phase Inverter have also been changed, but the remaining "Blue Molded" Ajax originals are still intact. A mid knob was added to the ext. speaker jack, which is surprisingly useful. Additionally, all the original carbon composition resistors are still present in the preamp section. With its reasonable 30 watts of power and lightweight 1x10 cabinet, this amp is a practical and great-sounding piggyback combo!
