The Blackface era Princeton Reverb is a winning combination of excellent tone and modest output power. Widely considered the most popular amp in Nashville, this reliable Fender combo never disappoints. The amp has held up well over the years, showing only minor signs of previous wear, with just a couple of small blemishes in the grillcloth. A standout feature of this particular amp is the factory Jensen speaker, which many players prefer over the Oxfords.
It remains mostly original, with the exception of a replaced power cord, preamp/bias electrolytics, and the cathode resistors, which have been swapped for modern carbon film equivalents. The bias resistor and one tremolo capacitor have also been replaced, but all of the original "Blue Molded" Ajax coupling capacitors are still intact.
