The Brown-era Fender Super flies under the radar in terms of mainstream appeal, but it's a favorite among players in the know. Its output and format are similar to that of a Blackface Vibrolux, making it an ideal choice in terms of size and power. The front grille cloth has been replaced, but it has retained all of its other major components, including the transformers and speakers. Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been changed, along with a handful of resistors swapped for modern equivalents. A few coupling caps have been swapped as well, mostly in the trem circuit. Please refer to the circuit pictures for more details. Whoever serviced this amp did an excellent job preserving its vintage quality while maximizing performance, as the tremolo and overall sound are top-notch!
