The Blonde-era Showman amp is a unique model that features the exact same circuit used in the '62 Twin. It’s one of the few Fender models with an active tone circuit, which makes a more noticeable difference in the bass and treble compared to the standard passive style. In addition to its stunning harmonic tremolo section, this amp is equipped with the powerful Triad 45945 output transformer, which is rated at 8 ohms (instead of 4) and typically paired with the single 15" tone ring cabinet. Thankfully, this amp remains mostly stock, with only a changed power cord and electrolytic caps. All of the original Blue Molded Ajax caps are still intact, which likely plays a big factor in why the tremolo sound is so great with this one! It has some aging and signs of wear, but still looks great with no rips to tears to speak of.
