Description

The Fender Bassman is pinnacle of 60's American classic rock tone. From the beginning Bassman's always shared DNA with Marshall amps, and this one can easily keep up with any JTM45 from the era. This head comes with the original Piggyback 2x12 cab, which is loaded with Jensen and Eminence speakers and sounds fantastic. Buyers should note the "Bass" channel sounds particularly great on this amp.

Internally, it has a changed power cord and electrolytic caps. Otherwise, it's completely original - with all of the original resistor and "Blue Molded" Ajax coupling caps still present. While the tube chart says "AA165" it is in fact the "AB165" circuit - this is a common mistake from the Fender factory, who didn't bother correcting things if the labels were already made! All things considered this is a great example of a golden era Blackface Bassman!
