Description

This stunning 1962 Martin D-21 offers a fantastic chance to own a vintage Martin with Brazilian rosewood at a more accessible price point. While this guitar has seen extensive repairs to preserve its excellent playability, it remains a solid player. The sides appear to have been replaced at some point, the fingerboard has been re-glued, and the guitar has been oversprayed. Other notable work includes a neck reset, the addition of a strap pin at the heel (which caused a minor crack), a replaced saddle and end pin, and veneer strips added to the neck block, likely during the side replacement. This guitar plays beautifully and delivers that classic Martin sound. It comes with its original hardshell case.
