Too young to be considered pre-war, but still featuring scalloped braces as its older brothers, this '44 D-18 has the sound of the golden era of Martin. It has a number of repairs that keeps its pricing closer to the player grade level, but the sound and playability are fantastic. It has undergone the following repairs: 6" crack on bass upper bout (glued), replaced Ebony bridge, cleat on rosette by treble edge, glued holes on bridge plate, neck reset, body overspray - this layer is what is humidity damaged, B-string crack, refret, replacement pins, 5" back crack (no cleat), 2x3" cracks on lower bout rim (no cleat), replaced saddle, Ebony truss rod.

This guitar comes with a period correct HSC.
