A pre-war D-18 is one of the most desirable vintage guitars out there. This 1937 example, while not wholly original, has been restored to near pristine shape, offering a remarkably clean guitar with warm vintage tone woods. It's tone is pure and balanced, with rich lows and responsive highs.
This guitar's been fully refinished with playwear filled in, a side crack repaired with cleats, electronics jack and screw plates in the rosette plugged, and an oversized replacement ebony bridge added. The tuners, pickguard, and bridge pins have been replaced. Additionally, it's benefitted from a neck reset, fretboard plane and refret, and a maple cap has been added to the bridge plate.
Includes purple Calton hard shell case.
