Modifications/RepairsPrevious neck set, refret, replaced nut and saddle, multiple top cracks glued and cleated, Replaced pick-guard
Condition NotesTop has obvious cracks but they are all well repaired, lots of checking on the top. Back and sides are fairly clean comparatively, neck is well warn but with plenty of finish left, there's a blemish at the neck and headstock joint, some wood exposed on the inside of the pick-guard where the original was removed
This 1968 Martin D-12-35 is a well-worn, well-loved 12-string with tons of vintage character and a truly rewarding voice. The top shows heavy finish checking and multiple crack repairs, but everything is stable and structurally sound, reflecting years of honest use rather than neglect. In return, you get fantastic tone for a twelve-string: a big, supportive low end with clear, focused midrange that keeps chords articulate and chiming rather than muddy. Despite its age and wear, it plays great and responds easily under the fingers—a seasoned vintage 12-string that absolutely earns its scars. Comes with the OHSC.
