This 1935 Martin C-2 Conversion has undergone an extensive professional restoration and conversion resulting in an excellent flattop guitar. The instrument now features a replacement Adirondack spruce top with new top bracing and a replacement rosette, along with a maple bridge plate and an ebony bridge. The body has been French polished and fitted with new celluloid binding, giving the guitar a clean, refined appearance.
Additional work includes a refret, replacement pickguard, and a bridge reglue. One fretboard diamond has been replaced, and several hairline cracks on the back and bass-side lower bout have been professionally repaired. The back and sides show noticeable finish wear and scattered scrapes, while the replacement top remains very clean. The result is a thoughtfully restored example of a mid-1930s Martin archtop that has been carefully converted for flat-top performance.
Includes vintage hard shell case.
