This 1937 Martin 00-18 Shade Top shows the character of a well-loved instrument while remaining structurally sound and highly playable. It has had a careful neck reset and refret, along with a replacement bridge that brings it back to fine playing condition. Several side cracks have been professionally repaired and the back and sides display light overspray, preserving both tone and integrity. Despite its visible wear, the guitar responds with the lively, balanced voice that defines a great pre-war 00—focused, open, and full of nuance. A fine example of a vintage Martin that’s been well cared for and continues to deliver its signature sound. Comes with a Calton case.
