One of the earliest examples of Martin’s pioneering Orchestra Model, this 1931 OM-18 showcases the design that helped define the modern flattop guitar. It features its original mahogany body and Adirondack spruce top, paired with patent pending Grover banjo tuners—an identifying feature of this rare early run. The guitar has had a refret, neck reset, replacement bridge, saddle, and pins, with overspray beneath the bridge and a plugged and re-drilled bridge plate. Several cracks have been repaired, including along the treble-side lower bout, and the braces have been scalloped. A well-cared-for early OM that carries the character and voice only time can give.

Includes vintage Martin hard shell case.
