This 1938 Martin 000-18 is a heavily played pre-war workhorse with loads of character and a fantastic voice. It wears its age honestly: heavy finish wear and checking, areas of chipped lacquer, and multiple repaired top cracks, along with a non-original bridge and newer frets. Despite the cosmetic wear, it’s structurally solid and ready for many more years of playing. In the hands it feels lively and responsive, and it both sounds and plays fantastic—delivering that dry, woody, articulate pre-war 000 tone that’s hard to replicate. Comes with a HSC.
