Great guitars come in smaller packages: the energy transfer from the bridge to binding has a shorter distance to transverse. The 00 size was the predominant width for much of the consumer available guitars from the 1920s-1940s before dreads and jumbos took over. This example handles finger style folk well and can do the Pattengale/Rawlings thing when flat picked. What's also special about this example appears to be one of the 1957 Martins that had a "Mystery Top" with Adirondack spruce, rather than the common post-1946 Sitka variety. It's truly one of the best sounding guitars this author has played at the shop. There are several repaired top cracks, it has had a neck reset, bridge reglue (and shaved down). It has the original finish and all the beautiful checking lines.
Comes with 60s Martin hardshell case (blue velvet lined)
