This 2023 Gibson SG Special might be the most joyfully unpredictable guitar to wander through the shop in a long time. Dressed in a wild, ’70s-inspired floral paint job over a two-tone natural sunburst, it looks like it teleported straight out of a field at Woodstock—peace signs not included. As far as we can tell, this is a true one-off straight from Gibson USA, the kind of oddball treasure they occasionally let slip into the world. The P-90s deliver that raw, wiry tone you want from an SG Special—bright when you lean in, warm when you ease back, and always full of personality. It’s a guitar with a grin built in, ready for anyone who appreciates a little color and a lot of vibe. Comes with the OHSC.
