This 1979 Les Paul Custom perfectly captures the unmistakable vibe and craftsmanship of Gibson’s Norlin era. It features a solid mahogany body with a carved maple top, a bound ebony fingerboard with block inlays, and elegant multi-ply binding paired with gold hardware—all highlighted by a rich Wine Red finish. The neck has a comfortable slim-to-medium profile and plays beautifully, aided by a professional refret and a new nut. The original electronics remain intact. Cosmetically, it shows honest playwear for its age, including light checking, small dings, buckle rash, and a tasteful patina on the hardware.
