Description

This 1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard is a late-’70s example with a solid feel and a clear, mid-focused response. The maple top over a mahogany body provides a tight low end with defined highs, while the set neck construction supports strong sustain. Thesunburstfinish highlights the grain of the top and gives the instrument a bold appearance. It has seen a few updates over time, including replacement tuners and light solder work in the control cavity. The original knobs have developed cracks that have been repaired and remain in place. Overall condition is very good for its age, with light player wear and some buckle rash on the back. It remains a clean and functional Les Paul Standard with minor maintenance work and honest signs of use.
