This 1961 Gibson Les Paul Junior SG is an early example of the transition to the double-cutaway design that would soon become the SG. The guitar has been refretted and fitted with replacement tuners and strap buttons, while the nut has been shimmed and the treble-side horn has been repaired with minor finish touch-up. The pickup has also been replaced, with the original included in the case. The front shows checking and dings throughout, while the back has a good amount of buckle rash, giving the guitar an honest, well-played appearance.
Includes black hard shell case.
