This 1952 Les Paul is a stunning first-year example of the model retaining all original specs in jaw-dropping vintage condition. From a rich Brazilian rosewood fingerboard to the stunning checking throughout the body, it's truly an exceptional vintage piece. The wiring is a bit atypical with 4 braid wire with orange inner insulation, but the solder work is untouched leading us to believe this is all factory work. The back has some buckle rash and finish wear to note, but overall remains in good condition for its age.
It also comes with the original 1952 GA-30 amp it was purchased with. The power cord has been replaced, but the amp is otherwise unserviced—meaning it does pass signal, though it’s quite noisy, and still retains its original electrolytic and wax coupling caps, which will need replacing.
Includes a very clean original case. (Flat top brown Geib case).
