Gibson Murphy Lab Ultra Heavy Aged 1959 Les Paul Standard 2021, Lemon Burst

Lemon Burst and an Ultra Heavy Aged finish give this 2021 Gibson Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Standard the appearance of a well-worn vintage instrument. The carved maple top, mahogany body, and rounded ’50s-style neck follow the familiar recipe of the original 1959 Les Paul, while a pair of Custombucker humbuckers provides the expected PAF-style response. Murphy Lab’s aging extends across the finish, hardware, and plastics, with extensive wear throughout that gives the guitar a thoroughly broken-in look. This is a detailed Custom Shop recreation of the ’59 Les Paul, finished in one of Gibson’s more distinctive Burst variations.
