Built during Gibson’s Crestline era, the GA-75 Recording is a straightforward 2-channel amp with an impressive sound. While similar in design to the GA-18 Explorer and Falcon models of the same period, the GA-75 delivers a bigger, fuller tone and increased headroom thanks to its 6L6 power tubes. It may not have built-in effects, but it easily holds its own alongside a non-reverb Fender Vibrolux from the same era—at a much more approachable price point.
This amp is in great condition, showing only minor signs of wear. Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, but the rest of the circuit remains stock. One unique feature is the diagonally mounted 10" speakers, which help keep the amp surprisingly compact.
