The super clean '61 355 features maple laminate construction with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, carrying two ’61-era serial numbers - coming from a small window in Gibson's production history where this occurred. The factory Transparent Cherry Red finish—commonly nicknamed “Watermelon”—shows beautiful grain through the body. Pickups and electronics are original, including a double-white PAF bridge humbucker and a zebra PAF neck humbucker - both offering warm, defined vintage tone. Hardware remains stock with original Grover Rotomatic tuners, and the only noted change is a replacement truss rod cover with "Willie Jenson" and musical insignia. The guitar is offered in exceptionally fine cosmetic condition and includes its original brown Gibson hardshell case.
