This 1962 Gibson ES-330 in Cherry has aged beautifully, retaining much of its original color and finish. It remains in exceptionally clean condition, with the only notable change being a professionally executed replacement headstock veneer. The trapeze tailpiece has also been replaced after the original failed, though the original piece is included in the case. A recent refret and new nut give it a smooth, modern playability, while its lively acoustic resonance adds to the charm. All other components, including the plastics and electronics, appear original and correct. The slim early-’60s neck profile offers fast, comfortable playability with a full-width nut that keeps it from feeling too narrow. The P-90s deliver the signature dry, woody snap and warm, responsive tone these models are prized for. A beautifully preserved example from one of the golden eras of Gibson’s thinline designs, complete with a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case.
