The Explorer came onto the scene in 1958 and was a short-lived head scratcher in the Gibson lineup. But in the years following, it became a cult classic and a highly collectible guitar, with original 1958 models often fetching 6 figures. This Custom Shop example in Cardinal Red is an eye-popping rendition of the original. With the iconic sharp edges and headstock, this guitar has all the Explorer swagger you could want. Cosmetically, it's in exceptional shape with no notable wear.
