The late '50s into the early '60s was a fantastic era for Gibson amplifiers. Many of these amps can rival or even exceed the sound quality of comparable Tweed Fenders, and at a fraction of the price. This particular amp is a great example—it's extremely clean, with only a couple of cigarette burns, and sounds excellent! The power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, but the preamp side is virtually all original. This is certainly a worthy choice if anyone shopping for a Tweed style amp.
