My niece really wanted to check out the shop while we were in Nashville. I'm not a guitar player, but it was absolutely amazing to see the high-end vintage collection as well as the huge selection of quality guitars and other related musical instruments.

Maybe the best guitar store I have ever been to. Make sure you go into the Vault to see the real vintage stuff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Make sure you scan the code to get your parking paid for.

I finally bought my first Carter Vintage guitar and had a great experience. This was also my first vintage guitar purchase! I got a tip from an employee at Gibson Garage that Carter had a 1984 Kramer Pacer. I knew that I wanted it, but wasn't able to get over to the shop. I was able to complete the purchase over the phone and the staff had the guitar all set up and restrung for me for when I was able to come in a few days later. Everyone that assisted me over the phone and in the shop was great. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and they really care about the guitars and their customers. It was really exciting to pick up a guitar from such an iconic place. The guitar looks and sounds awesome. Thanks Carter Vintage! I'd love to be a repeat customer.

Honestly, I don’t even have the words. This was something else. They let me sit down and play all of these: ’59 ES-345, ’59 ES-335, ’60 ES-335, ’61 ES-335, ’64 ES-336, ’63 Jazzmaster, ’62 Strat, ’51 Tele. That just doesn’t happen back home—not like this, not all in one day. Gave me a real sense of what I’ve been chasing. Feels like I’m headed toward a ’63 ES-335 once everything lines up. Appreciate it, CVG. Truly.

I've always enjoyed a stop in at CVG. I interacted with Noah and Andrew the most; they were always friendly and willing to serve. The staff will let you enjoy an instrument without any pressure or expectations of making a sale. There is a massive range of instrument age and values at CVG; something for everyone. The showroom is beautiful but doesn't come off as a 'don't touch' museum. This last time in, I bought a guitar that I'd always wanted. Thanks to Noah and the good folks at Carter!
