This 1963 Fender Stratocaster represents one of the most sought-after periods of pre-CBS production, finished in classic Sunburst and retaining the features that made early-'60s examples so enduring. Its alder body, Brazilian rosewood board, and trio of single-coil pickups deliver the familiar balance of clarity, warmth, and articulation. By 1963, the Stratocaster had become a fixture across popular music, appearing in everything from surf instrumentals to the emerging sounds of rock and soul.
This example remains in good vintage condition, showing notable finish wear on the back from decades of use. A refret has been performed by our in-house repair team, and the nut has been shimmed. Additional changes include a replaced volume pot along with replacement pickguard and back cover plate. The honest wear and maintenance found here reflect an instrument that has been played and cared for throughout its lifetime.
Includes vintage brown tolex Fender Jazzmaster case.
