This 2004 Martin D-42 has a rich, balanced tone and elegant aesthetics. The solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides provide deep, resonant tones with remarkable projection and clarity, ideal for both strumming and fingerpicking. This particular instrument is beautifully appointed with intricate abalone inlays on the rosette, top binding, and fingerboard, all highlighted by a glossy finish that enhances its visual appeal.
