This 1955 Martin D-18 has seen its share of careful maintenance, including a neck reset, refret, and a replaced nut, making it a solid player with a lot of life left in it. The bridge and bridge plate are not original, and the top shows an overspray with repaired cracks that have been cleated and filled. Much of the top binding has been replaced, blending well with the guitar’s overall aesthetic. The result is an instrument with the feel and response of a well-played vintage D-18, offering a warm, seasoned voice and a naturally aged look that tells its story without trying too hard. Comes ready to go with excellent playability and tone. Comes with a period correct HSC.
