A strong sounding example of an early '40s D-18. This dread is a flat pickers dream; loud, direct, and responsive. The guitar is in nice playing condition with some noticeable wear from its 81 years of service. Its list of repairs include a neck reset, re-fret, replaced bridge and bridge plate, repaired back crack, finish touch up on the top, a new nut and saddle, and an added strap button. The work was done by Hugh Hanson, one of Nashville's top luthiers, so it is all top notch. It sounds absolutely wonderful and plays excellently too. Includes its original hard shell case.
*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
