The stunning 1935-style sunburst on this Martin Custom Shop D-28 is sure to catch your eye, but its buttery, rich tone will truly captivate you. Built in 2021, this exceptional dreadnought features Wild Grain East Indian rosewood back and sides paired with an Adirondack spruce top. Designed to embody the finest elements of pre-war guitars, it boasts forward-shifted scalloped bracing, hot hide glue construction, and a rounded low-profile neck carve. The result is a richly resonant, mellow tone that highlights the best qualities of rosewood. Cosmetically, it shows light signs of wear but remains in excellent condition overall. Includes the original hardshell case.
