Modifications/RepairsNew Nut, Replaced Knobs, Replaced Switch, and Replaced Pickguard. Swapped period correct strap buttons. Missing truss rod cover.

This is quite rare - A Gibson Melody Maker 12 String in Sparkling Burgundy! Melody Makers were Gibson's entry level instruments, so seeing one with any extra appointments is pretty uncommon. Gibson likely made less than 200 of these in '68. This example has new nut, replaced knobs, replaced switch, replaced pickguard, and replaced period correct strap buttons. There's wear through to the gold undercoat that gives it a fantastic vintage look and feel. It plays comfortably and sounds great with its original Melody Maker pickups.

*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
