Description

Rare and stage ready, we present to you a 1961 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut in TV Yellow. Arguably the most attractive LP Special variation, the TV yellow finish on this is warmer than previous iterations; its also one of the last instruments to get that option. Also as a benefit of being a 1961 model, the neck pickup placement does not compromise the neck tenon like the first double cut designs. This example also benefits from a rather recent refret. There were some modifications over the years: routing for humbuckers (P90s reinstalled), rotomatic tuners (reversed) and switch in backplate (filled). That being said, these previous choices dont jump out at you and allow for this very attractive price.
