From Gibson: "The new Les Paul™ Standard returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 60s has a solid mahogany body with an AA figured maple top. The pairing of mahogany, with its warm, midrange-focused tone, and maple, with its brighter tone and defined note attack, is the classic tonewood recipe that delivers that world-famous Les Paul sound. The mahogany neck has a SlimTaper™ 60s-style profile that is slim, comfortable, and fast-playing. It is capped with an Indian rosewood fretboard that is adorned with acrylic trapezoid inlays. The frets are smooth-playing medium jumbos, and the 12" fretboard radius makes it as easy to play first-position chords as it is to do wide string bends without the risk of the notes fretting out. The Les Paul Standard 60s is equipped with a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge for precise intonation adjustment and an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece. Both the tailpiece and bridge are anchored straight into the top for exceptional sustain. The tuning machines are smooth-turning Grover® Rotomatics®, and they have the classic "Kidney" buttons. The control knobs are gold Top Hats with silver reflectors. They are outfitted with dial pointers so you'll always know precisely how the controls are set. The 60s Burstbucker™ pickups are loaded with Alnico 5 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. They deliver the classic tones that the Les Paul model is so famous for. A Gibson hardshell case is also included to keep your instrument safe when traveling." Includes the original hardshell case and case candy.
