Reintroduced in 1968, the Les Paul Custom came back with new appointments: Two Patent Number Sticker pickups instead of three PAF's, a less steep 14 degree headstock angle, and more notably a maple cap, which the original Customs did not have. This example is missing its pickguard and has replaced pickup covers, bridge, tailpiece, knobs, and tuners but retains its incredible sounding pickups and has a feel that is undeniably great with a rounded and extremely comfortable neck. The frets have been leveled to fretless wonder spec with good playability, but it would benefit from a re-fret. This guitar truly exudes the the late '60s rock 'n roll feel and sound that these guitars became popular for.
Includes its original case with replaced handle.
