The late 50's into the early 60's is a fantastic era for Gibson amplifiers. Many of these amps can rival or exceed the sound quality of comparable Tweed Fenders, and at a fraction of the price. This particular amp is a great example - it's extremely clean other than a couple cigarette burns and sounds excellent! The power cord and electrolytic caps have been changed, but the preamp side is practically all original. This is certainly worthy choice, if shopping within the realm of early 60's Tweed style amps.
