These "tweed" era Gibson amps are starting to gain recognition for being great value for good they sound. They can directly compare to a Tweed era Fender Vibrolux, but at a substantially lower price. This unit looks to be in very good shape, with minor signs of previous wear. Internally, the power cord has been changed, along with a couple of components for the sake of servicing functionality on the tremolo. Most of the original components are still present, otherwise. The electrolytic caps have been changed out for older era replacements. This amp would benefit from a new cap job, for any kind of prolonged use.
