This 2004 Gibson F-5 Master Model, signed by the late Charles Derrington, represents some of the finest mandolin craftsmanship to come out of Gibson’s modern era. Built in the spirit of the legendary Lloyd Loar instruments, it features an Adirondack spruce top, highly figured maple back and sides, and a hand-applied sunburst finish that highlights its elegant, vintage-inspired aesthetic. The radiused ebony fingerboard and comfortable V-shaped neck offer a responsive, articulate feel, while the tone is rich, woody, and exceptionally balanced across all registers. Cosemtically, it has substantial player wear with picking marks and a handful of other blemishes - but you know what they say: the best ones always get played!
Includes hard shell case.
