Gibson took a break from producing ES-300s during the war but started back up in late 1945. This is one of those with the straight neck pickup, clear control knobs and beautiful sunburst. This guitar has the name Tuck on the case in metal lettering and a bit of off gassing has worn a hole in the pick guard. Other than the off gassing and a missing endpin the guitar is original. It sounds incredible with a direct mid ranged sound. The guitar is sweet in that midrange and supported by a bit of bass from the large body. When playing this guitar it rings in the ear like an amp is plugged in a few rooms over. A very forward sound that is inserts itself into any mix.
Comes in original hard case.
