This Bill Monroe is an incredibly fine example of the signature run of mandolins. Here is the 44th instrument of a 200 mandolin production. Regarded as the "Father of Bluegrass" Bill Monroe is credited with being a founding member of Bluegrass. His legacy in the world of music history is carried on with this fantastic run of signature mandolins. This mandolin comes with a 2003 appraisal from George Gruhn and the original warranty paperwork. The finish is exceptionally clean for its age only showing some light swirling and hairline scratches in the varnish.
