Gibson Snakehead mandolins earned their name as Gibson changed the headstock style from the scroll to a design that resembled a snake's head in the early 20s. These models implemented many of the tweaks that Lloyd Loar brought to Gibson's designs. This example is almost completely original, with one replacement ivoroid tuning key (original in case). It has plenty of wear for a century old instrument, but is otherwise in good condition. Includes original Geib case.
