This body (only) refin 1964 Fender Stratocaster sounds like it has built in reverb.  This is an incredibly resonant Strat!  The body was refinished in black lacquer a while back with a sanding sealer, under the paint, that had a bit of brown color to it.  Long story short, it makes the body look a bit like it's mahogany.  The body is alder.  The neck has the original finish and logo.  The guitar has a great recent refret, a new nut and the fretboard was leveled a little bit; so the guitar plays perfectly.  The pickups are original and sound absolutely like reference examples in each position and also in the in-between spots.  The neck is shaped more like a '63 with a nice full feel to it; it's definitely on the larger side as you play up the neck.  The guitar comes with its original no-logo black Tolex case.
