This 1964 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst is a well-preserved example, showing modest wear while retaining a vibrant finish and classic mid-’60s feel. The electronics remain all original aside from a cleanly installed 5-way switch — a sensible update that enhances functionality without compromising its vintage character. The guitar had a previous refret in which the radius was flattened slightly to 9.5" and the frets were slotted into the maple but it has since been professionally filled and cleanly refretted with excellent playability. See our specs section for full details. The rosewood fingerboard and late-’64 “C” neck profile offer a comfortable, familiar feel, and the original black-bottom pickups deliver that clear, glassy tone these guitars are known for. With smooth playability and a strong, balanced voice, it's a great-sounding Strat that holds onto all the right details. Comes with the OHSC.
