This 1965 Fender Precision Bass comes in a rare factory custom black finish and has held up impressively well over the decades. The body shows honest playwear—dings, light checking, and some edge wear—but nothing crazy for a nearly 60-year-old instrument. The original pickups and wiring harness are intact, delivering that classic, woody thump with a dry attack and plenty of presence. It’s had a professional refret and a new nut installed, both done cleanly and in keeping with the instrument’s original feel. A solid example of a mid-’60s P-Bass with a custom color and just the right amount of history on display.
