If you believe the old saying "the good ones got played" is true, then this might be the best bass ever made. This 1963 P Bass is a monster player with some of the most (authentic) wear we've had on an instrument in this shape. The wood is dug out from a thumb planted above the pickguard with wear a plenty from a pinky planted below the pickguard. There's notable finish wear throughout the entire body and neck. It's currently strung up with flatwotunds and sounds fantastic with a very comfortable neck. The headstock was shifted forward a minimal bit over time likely due to heat exposure and the fact that it was just a thinner headstock to begin with, but does not affect its structural stability. May '63 Neck / '61 Pots.
Includes Fender 60s hard shell case.
