In 1950, Fender introduced the "Esquire" electric guitar and later renamed the double pickup version the "Broadcaster." The Fender Custom Shop recreated the original 70th Anniversary Broadcaster in 2020, producing only 70 guitars, each with a unique relic finish by a Masterbuilder. This was crafted by the exceptional Vincent van Trigt, who is not with the Fender Custom Shop anymore. Every component of this guitar was meticulously assembled by Vincent to his high standards, resulting in a truly remarkable piece. The neck is incredibly comfortable and visually stunning, a rare find in any guitar. The Custom Shop 50-51 handwound pickups deliver a warm, transparent tone with natural wood character, perfect for both rhythm and lead playing. This one-of-a-kind gem is in mint condition, with no marks on the frets, making it an exceptional collector's item.
The guitar originally came equipped with the "Broadcaster" wiring harness, while the case contained a modern circuit. The wiring has since been swapped into the guitar, with the original Broadcaster wiring now safely stored in the case. The only items missing from the case candy are the Broadcaster flyer and Broadcaster telegram. Comes with OHC
