From the first year of production, this 1962 Fender Jaguar, finished in Olympic White, is as cool as it gets for surf rock savants and indie/alt rockers. The Jaguar has long been the unsung hero of the vintage Fender lineup, often times playing second fiddle to the Strats and Teles, but at the time of its production, the Jaguar was actually Fender's top-of-the-line offering. Its unique electronics setup made it the most versatile guitar in their lineup, and the 24" scale length made playing super comfortable and bending notes a breeze.
This example is in good shape for its age! There are finish dings throughout, some finish flaking and a mysterious circle on the back side lower bout. Additionally, it's undergone some minor touch up around the neck and body, and the neck has been oversprayed. The foam underneath the pickups and the mute foam has been replaced. Otherwise this guitar remains all original, with the body (10/62) and neck dates (SEP 62) checking out as well as original electronics. It's hard to beat the warm jangle of a vintage Jaguar.
